Hill House offers practical support for the present day challenges of parenting, marriage and family development. regular workshops, talks and seminars provide opportunities to reflect on priorities, share experiences and benefit from expert insights and practical tips.

Regular parenting topics include teaching values to teenagers, keeping safe on the Internet, early child development, how food affects children, understanding your child's temperament, the importance of creative development, building self esteem and the seven habits of highly effective parents.

Family development activities include study groups on marriage and the family where couples can come together in a supportive environment to discover ways of enriching their marriage relationship.


Overview

Hill House is a not-for-profit initiative that aims to support the role of parents as the primary educators of their children and offers a programme of parenting, family, faith formation and cultural activities as well as mother-and-toddler groups and a pre-school facility.

Inspiration

Inspired by the teachings of St Josemaria Escriva, founder of Opus Dei, Hill House promotes activities that reflect a Christian outlook on life and culture. These activities are open to people of all creeds and backgrounds.
